Analytical Instrumentation Field Support Engineer
Job Description
For more than 80 years, LECO has pioneered world-class laboratory instrumentation from our home base in St. Joseph, Michigan. As a family-owned company, we value long-term relationships, trust, and stability—and we extend those values to every customer interaction in the field.
A day in the lifeIt’s Monday morning. You review your schedule from your home office, confirm spare parts in your trunk stock, and head to a customer site. By mid-morning, you’re troubleshooting a DC power supply issue on an analytical instrument. After lunch, you complete a preventive maintenance checklist and update firmware with the latest upgrade kit. You wrap up the day by training a new user on instrument theory, operation, software navigation, and care. Tomorrow brings an installation at a metallographic lab—and a chance to strengthen another customer relationship.
