MRI Technologist
Location: Atlanta, GA 30342
Shift: Night Shift — 12×3, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, Friday/Saturday/Sunday
Duration: 13 weeks
Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent MRI Technologist experience
We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join a busy MRI department supporting both inpatient and outpatient imaging services. The ideal candidate will be highly experienced, able to work independently, and comfortable providing MRI services to inpatient patients in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Required Qualifications- Minimum 2 years of recent MRI Technologist experience within the specialty.
- ARRT – MRI certification required.
- AHA BLS certification required.
- Strong experience performing MRI examinations independently.
- Ability to assist with inpatient MRI studies.
- Strong understanding of MRI safety procedures and protocols.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Perform MRI examinations for inpatient and outpatient patients independently.
- Operate MRI equipment and obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Screen patients for MRI safety, implants, contraindications, and other safety concerns.
- Accurately position patients and provide clear instructions throughout examinations.
- Administer contrast when required and monitor patients appropriately.
- Document procedures and patient information accurately.
- Follow established MRI safety protocols and departmental procedures.
- Maintain a high standard of patient care and imaging quality.
- Collaborate with clinical and imaging staff as needed to ensure efficient patient flow.
- Busy MRI department with a combination of inpatient and outpatient studies.
- Candidate must be comfortable working independently and managing a demanding workload.
- Strong inpatient MRI experience is highly valued.
