Job Description
This position supports the coordination and execution of the Parenteral Drug Association (PDA)’s training courses. Responsibilities include office administrative functions as well as training course setup, execution, and closeout support. This position reports to the Bethesda, MD, office full-time with occasional work from home days. The work hours are 8:30-5:00, Monday through Friday, but may vary depending on the training course schedule.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
- Respond to inquiries regarding training programs, registration, and continuing education credits.
- Maintain and update training information across the PDA website, LMS, and other training platforms.
- Administer the Learning Management System (LMS), including course setup, enrollments, reporting, and user support.
- Coordinate logistics for virtual, in-person, and hybrid training programs, including facilities, laboratories, catering, equipment, and training materials.
- Prepare, maintain, and inventory training facilities, laboratories, supplies, and equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Perform facility opening and closing procedures and coordinate maintenance needs as required.
- Provide administrative and onsite support to instructors, participants, and PDA staff before, during, and after training programs.
- Independently travel to and support offsite training events, ensuring effective program execution and participant experience.
- Collect, maintain, and analyze departmental and training data to support reporting, metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Process vendor invoices, trainer expenses, and other training-related administrative documentation.
- Support marketing and promotional activities for PDA training programs.
- Edit and maintain course presentations, instructional materials, and learner resources to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality.
- Assist with course development, basic instructional design, and support of the creation of training materials in collaboration with subject matter experts and instructors.
Education/Experience:
Associate degree or related work experience.

- Ability to work outside of normal business hours and on weekends prior to and during events, with advance notice
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and the ability to learn new technology platforms
- Project and event coordination skills, including the ability to manage multiple concurrent training programs and operational priorities
Physical Demands:
- Ability to move throughout office, training, laboratory, and event spaces, including occasional stair use
- Ability to independently remain stationary for extended periods of time and perform routine movements such as reaching, bending, and twisting
- Ability to independently lift, carry, and move training materials, supplies and equipment weighing up to 30 pounds
- Ability to travel and support onsite and offsite training programs and events as needed
