Responsibilities:
- Assist the PT with therapies designed to improve mobility, relieve pain, prevent or limit permanent physical disability and promote overall fitness and wellness in a skilled nursing facility
- Record patients' progress and report the results of each treatment to the physical therapist.
- Instructing patients and caregivers on exercises and techniques for home, as well as injury prevention.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a current Physical Therapist Assistant license
- Must have experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Must have long term care experience
- Well versed with documentation writing
