Aviate at Piscataway is seeking a passionate and dedicated part time Recreation Assistant.
Responsibilities
Promotes recreation involvement based on the needs, preferences and interests of the resident
Ability to plan and organize activities
Encourages social interaction through recreation opportunities
Monitor resident behavior during activities and communicate to nursing as needed
Qualifications
HS diploma or equivalent
Previous long term care experience and ability to manage residents with dementia preferred
Must be energetic, creative and a team player
