As a Physical Therapist at Parklands Care Center, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, from short-term rehabilitation residents to long-term care residents. Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with the latest technology and equipment, and our team of interdisciplinary healthcare professionals is dedicated to providing compassionate and personalized care to every patient.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical capabilities, limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on each resident's specific goals and needs.
Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, exercises, and modalities to improve strength, mobility, and functional independence.
Educate residents and their families about rehabilitation processes, exercises, and strategies for preventing injuries.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
Regularly evaluate patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
Previous experience in a rehabilitation or healthcare setting is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a passion for patient care and teamwork.
What We Offer:
Competitive hourly rate of $48 - $57.
$5,000 Sign on bonus (applicable for Full-Time Employment Status).
