Lead Commercial Service Technician / Plumber

LEADERSHIP & TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES

? Lead, mentor, and coordinate a team of commercial service plumbers/technicians on day-to-day jobs

? Assign and oversee daily job scheduling, ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety on every site

? Train and onboard new team members, sharing technical best practices and company standards

? Serve as the on-site point of escalation for complex diagnostic and repair issues

? Perform quality checks on completed work and coach technicians on areas for improvement

? Foster a positive, safety-first team culture built on accountability and pride in the trade

? Communicate directly with commercial clients to ensure expectations are met and relationships stay strong

QUALIFICATIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

? 5+ years' experience as a Commercial Service Plumber; prior lead or supervisory experience a plus

? Lives in the Orange County market

? Experience performing commercial plumbing service work in office buildings, medical and healthcare facilities, industrial/manufacturing facilities, distribution and fulfillment centers, and similar properties

? Skilled at troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing plumbing fixtures — faucets, toilets, flush valves, instant hot water heaters, and more

? Drain cleaning and jetting experience required

? Experience working with water, irrigation, and gas piping, including PVC, copper, black pipe, and galvanized pipe

? Experience with pump systems — recirculation, booster, and duplex/triplex sump pump systems

? Ability to troubleshoot and repair commercial water heaters and/or boilers

? Able to safely operate a company service truck, stored at home in a driveway or garage (no street parking)

? Willing and available to work nights and weekends as projects require

? Comfortable representing the company in commercial environments — personable, presentable, and professional at all times

REQUIREMENTS

? High school diploma or equivalent

? Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate a team in a fast-paced field environment

? Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills under pressure

? Excellent communication skills — with your team, leadership, and clients alike

? Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment

? Willingness to keep learning and stay current on industry techniques and codes

? Valid driver's license

? Skills in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

? Technology Savy

? Service Titan (FSM = Field Service Management) Software (a plus)

? Backflow Certification (a plus)

? $40–$45/hr. depending on knowledge, experience, and leadership responsibilities
