Responsibilities:
- Facilitate engaging programs, activities, and events tailored to teen interests and development
- Supervise and maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment within the teen center
- Build positive, trusting relationships with youth members and serve as a mentor and role model
- Plan and coordinate recreational, educational, and social enrichment activities
- Monitor teen behavior and enforce center guidelines and policies
- Collaborate with staff, volunteers, and community partners to enhance program offerings
- Track attendance, participation, and program outcomes for reporting purposes
- Experience working with youth development, recreation, or educational setting
- Strong communication, conflict resolution, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to plan, organize, and lead structured and unstructured youth activities
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for youth empowerment
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Ability to pass a background check as required for working with minors
- High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework in education, social work, or recreation a plus
