Position Summary
QuickPro Staffing is seeking a skilled Prepress Technician Specialist to support prepress operations in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This role requires strong technical expertise in flexo and digital printing, hands-on equipment operation, and close attention to detail for color and text accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Work well within a team and communicate clearly with team members
- Apply experience with flexo printing and digital printing
- Communicate with customers to troubleshoot prepress problems and address management or customer concerns
- Maintain good eyesight and attention to detail for color and text proofing
- Utilize Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
- Create artwork from blueprints or customer instructions
- Perform data merge and numbering of jobs
- Apply trapping, step and repeat, and final prep before plating
- Produce flexo analog plates using in-house plate-making equipment
- Operate two digital devices in the prepress room
- Maintain prepress equipment
