Caseload & Accountability Expectations At Find Your Balance, accountability is part of how we support both our clinicians and clients. Clear expectations help ensure clients receive consistent care while giving clinicians the structure and support needed to build a successful practice. Associate therapists are expected to:Build toward and maintain an average caseload of 20 completed clinical sessions per week (40 sessions per pay period)Maintain a minimum of 25 available appointment openings each week to support referrals, client rescheduling, insurance issues, and continuity of careProvide a consistent weekly schedule that supports ongoing treatmentComplete all clinical documentation within 24 hoursCommunicate proactively regarding schedule changes, availability, and planned time offEngage fully in supervision, coaching, and performance feedback We recognize that building a caseload takes time. New clinicians receive referrals, mentorship, and ongoing support as they grow into these expectations. Join Find Your Balance and build more than your hours—build the foundation for a career you'll be proud of.Compensation: $30 - $35 hourlyResponsibilities: Your Role As an Associate Therapist, you'll provide high-quality, evidence-based psychotherapy while continuing to develop your clinical skills through supervision, collaboration, and ongoing learning. Responsibilities include:Provide psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults through secure telehealth or hybrid servicesConduct comprehensive clinical assessments, establish diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plansDeliver evidence-based interventions tailored to each client's needsMonitor treatment progress and adjust interventions when clinically appropriateComplete accurate, insurance-compliant documentation within 24 hours of each sessionAssess and respond appropriately to safety concerns, crises, and mandated reporting requirementsCollaborate professionally with supervisors, psychiatric providers, care coordinators, and fellow cliniciansParticipate actively in weekly clinical supervisionDemonstrate professionalism, ethical decision-making, cultural humility, and compassionate client care As our organization grows, responsibilities may evolve to support the needs of the clients and team.Qualifications: We're looking for clinicians who are eager to learn, committed to excellence, and excited to grow with a collaborative team. Preferred qualifications include:Active California Associate registration (AMFT, ASW, or APCC)Approximately 1,000 supervised clinical hours preferred (strong candidates with fewer hours are encouraged to apply)Experience providing psychotherapy servicesFamiliarity with evidence-based treatment approachesKnowledge of crisis assessment and mandated reportingExperience with Medi-Cal or Department of Mental Health documentation is preferredExperience collaborating with DCFS or other child welfare agencies is a plusBilingual clinicians are strongly encouraged to apply If interested in the hybrid option, clinicians must also:Be able to commute to our Encino, Lancaster, or Riverside officeBe available to provide 5–6 in-person sessions during scheduled in-office daysAbout Company Find Your Balance Center for Growth and Change, Inc., is a mission-driven mental health practice providing telehealth services across California.
