ASSEMBLY OPERATOR
Adairsville, GA
PAY: $16/HOURLY
SHIFT: 1st (6:00a-4:20p) Mon-Fri
The Assembly Operator is responsible for pre-assembling racking frames and products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety and quality standards, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a production team.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble parts and products according to work instructions, blueprints, and production schedules
- Safely operate power tools, including torque wrenches and other hand tools
- Maintain consistent production output while meeting quality standards
- Perform visual and functional inspections of assembled frames
- Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or quality defects to a supervisor or team lead
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals
- Load and unload assembly cells using an electric pallet mover
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment preferred
- Familiarity with power tools, including torque wrenches and basic hand tools
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Work Environment & Expectations:
- Fast-paced production/assembly setting with frequent changeovers
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality standards
- Flexibility to be reassigned to different tasks or stations as needed
- Compliance with staggered break schedules
- Team-oriented environment, working in groups of up to 6 employees
- Non-climate controlled
- Overtime may be required!
