Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Full-Time

Location: Aiken Rehabilitation and Care Center – Aiken, SC

Aiken Rehabilitation and Care Center is seeking a Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team.

Rate: $32-$36 per hour

What You'll Do:

  • Assist in delivering occupational therapy services under the supervision and direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist

  • Implement individualized treatment plans designed to enhance residents’ functional abilities, mobility, and overall quality of life

  • Observe and document resident progress, reporting changes and outcomes to the Occupational Therapist and nursing team

  • Educate and train residents, families, and caregivers on safe and effective techniques to support daily living activities

  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to promote continuity and coordination of care across all disciplines

What You’ll Need:

  • Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the State of South Carolina

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills

  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred, but not required

  • Demonstrated commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care
