Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team at Powder Springs Center for Nursing and Healing. As a PTA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, working closely with our physical therapy team to help individuals achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists in the implementation of treatment plans, including exercises, modalities, and other interventions

• Conduct patient assessments and document progress

• Operate and maintain various pieces of physical therapy equipment

• Participate in patient education, promoting independence and self-care

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant

• 0 years of experience in a physical therapy setting (new graduates welcome to apply!)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
