McBride offers competitive compensation, outstanding benefits, 401 (k) plan, paid vacation, and many company outings!Top reasons to work with us:Competitive salary and an annual discretionary bonus program.State-of-the-art software and technologyA collaborative work environment that values innovation and teamworkOnsite fitness center at the corporate officeSalary Range: $155,000- $185,000/yr. depending on experience.Key Responsibilities:Assist on legal matters, with an emphasis on land acquisitionManage zoning entitlement including analysis of zoning codes and presenting projects at zoning meetings throughout the greater St. Louis Metropolitan AreaProvide legal advice related to land acquisition and development Draft and negotiate land acquisition contracts, development agreements, and related documentsWork with our in-house land development team and legal team to analyze due diligence and close land acquisition projects including detailed analysis of title and survey issues and drafting easements and other title related resolution documentsManaging litigation matters including consulting with and coordinating outside counsel as necessaryAssist with dispute resolution involving municipalities, contractors, property owners, and regulatory agenciesProvide advice regarding legal issues in construction and warrantyReport directly to the President of Land Development and the General CounselQualifications:Must be capable of managing and tracking high volume caseload with many priorities and deadlinesExcellent negotiation and drafting skillsExceptional written communication and oral presentation skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detailAbility to analyze and solve complex title and survey issuesAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyMust be licensed and able to practice law in MissouriA law degree from an ABA accredited law schoolMinimum of 2 years of experience in real estate lawMcBride is an Equal Opportunity Employer
