About the Role:
As a Speech Language Pathologist with Award Care at Harts Harbor, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, providing expert assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders. Your professional expertise will help our residents regain and maintain their functional abilities, improving their overall quality of life.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address clients' communication and swallowing needs
Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, as well as group therapy and educational programs for clients and their families
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services
Monitor and document clients' progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure optimal outcomes
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology or related field
Master's degree in Speech Pathology or related field preferred

Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Florida
