POSITION DESCRIPTION
Perform the overall functions of the Registered Dietician across multiple facilities to ensure the positive delivery of quality food service and nutritional care.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Registered Dietician
- Two to three years of supervisory experience in hospital or long-term care facility dietary department desirable.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide guidance with food ordering, storage and preparation
- Recommend and make menu changes as needed with the Dietary Supervisors
- Monitor to ensure that safe food handling techniques are used and approrpiate procedures/practices are followed in the dietary setting
- Participate as part of an IDT team to ensure positive care outcomes
