Speech Therapist (SLP) – In-Home Services for Individual with IDD

AmeriWell Care is seeking a compassionate and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide in-home speech therapy services to an individual with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in Piscataway, New Jersey.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping an individual improve communication skills, social interaction, functional language abilities, and overall quality of life in the comfort of their home environment.
Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide one-on-one speech therapy services in the home setting
Address communication, language, social, and functional speech goals
Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and session notes
Collaborate with family members, support staff, and interdisciplinary team members
Qualifications:
Current New Jersey Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
Experience working with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable transportation and ability to travel to the client's home
Ability to work independently while providing high-quality, person-centered care
