This role is responsible for repairing, fabricating, and maintaining trailer bodies and components to ensure safety, durability, and quality workmanship. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and takes pride in producing solid, reliable work.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform welding and fabrication on trailer bodies, frames, and componentsRepair structural damage, floors, doors, roofs, panels, and undercarriagesCut, fit, and assemble metal parts using hand and power toolsRead and interpret basic blueprints, measurements, and work ordersPerform body repairs including straightening, replacing panels, and reinforcing structuresInspect trailers for damage and determine repair needsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaFollow all safety procedures and shop standardsPerform body swapsQualifications1+ Welding and fabrication experienceExperience working on trailers, truck bodies, or heavy equipment preferredAbility to accurately measure, cut, and fabricate metalStrong attention to detail and qualityAbility to work independently and as part of a teamBasic mechanical knowledge is a plusReliable attendance and strong work ethicWhat We OfferCompetitive pay based on experienceSteady, year-round workFull benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, etc.) (if applicable)Supportive team environmentOpportunity to grow skills and advance within the companySchedule:2nd Shift - 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, Monday - FridayJob Type: Full-timeWork Location: In-person
