Occupational Therapist -Per Diem

Licensed Occupational TherapistRome Health is seeking a Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team per diem. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for the evaluation, planning, and implementation of occupational therapy services for patients across a variety of ages and diagnoses.This position provides the opportunity to work with diverse patient populations, including general orthopedic, spine, and bariatric patients, across multiple care settings.Position ResponsibilitiesEvaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy plans of care.Implement appropriate treatment interventions based on patient needs and goals.Provide occupational therapy services across inpatient, outpatient, and skilled nursing facility settings.Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other members of the healthcare team to support quality patient outcomes.Document evaluations, treatments, progress, and discharge planning in accordance with professional and organizational standards.EducationBachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.License/CertificationCurrent New York State license to practice Occupational Therapy.ExperienceLicensed new graduates are welcome to apply.Experience in orthopedic, spine, bariatric, inpatient, outpatient, or skilled nursing settings is a plus but not required.Schedule7.5 hours per dayMonday–FridaySaturday rotation for inpatient coverageHours are negotiableAbout Rome HealthRome Health is a nonprofit healthcare system based in Rome, New York, serving patients throughout Central New York.
