Production Machine Setter/Operator -- Piercing & Bending

Questions to consider

• Can you set up and monitor piercing, bending, and forming machines with confidence?
• Will you run a first-piece check and record measurements before greenlighting production?
• Do you spot defects quickly and verify work with drawings, gauges, micrometers, and scales?
• Are you comfortable loading/unloading materials and helping move parts to the next step?
• When something seems off, do you follow safety procedures and report equipment/tooling issues right away?
• Are you adaptable enough to take on other duties as priorities change?

What you’ll do

• Operate and oversee piercing, bending, and forming equipment throughout the shift.
• Perform and document first-piece inspections to confirm setup accuracy.
• Inspect in-process parts; verify accuracy with the proper instruments and drawings.
• Handle material loading and unloading; assist with internal part movement.
• Maintain a safe work area; escalate equipment/tooling concerns promptly.
• Support additional production tasks as assigned.

What you bring

• 2–3 months of machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Solid addition and subtraction skills.
• Ability to read measurements and use inspection tools accurately.
• English speaking preferred.

Physical expectations

• Lift up to 10 lbs.
• Stand, move materials, and perform light physical tasks.
