About You:
The Outpatient Lead is responsible for the day-to-day operations of their assigned shifts and team members. The ideal candidate for this role is someone with great verbal and written communication skills and is comfortable navigating basic problem-solving and conflict resolution. Passionate about education and the success of their team members, this individual will assist and oversee all training, collaborate with managers for progress updates, and uphold a positive and encouraging atmosphere for their teammates while maintaining the highest commitment to patient care.
These responsibilities are in addition to maintaining the roles and duties of a veterinary technician on the clinical floor.
Anticipated Schedule:
This is a full-time position.
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday / 10-hour shifts.
Weekends and Holidays are required.
Compensation:
$26.00-$35.00 an hour dependent upon experience and education.

Requirements:- Associate’s degree in veterinary technology preferred but not required. An equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed above may be substituted for the education and experience requirements.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.
- Strong computer skills required
- Veterinary experience in a busy 24-hour practice is preferred but not required
- Must be available for flexible shifts, 1 weekend shift per week is required.
