As a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), you will play a crucial role in helping children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) improve their communication skills.
As a Speech Pathologist, you will conduct speech and language assessments for children with ASD, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and provide speech therapy sessions in one-on-one and small group settings. You will work closely with Behavior Analysts and other team members to integrate speech and language goals with ABA programs, provide parent and caregiver training, and document progress and maintain accurate records. You will also participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and stay current with best practices in speech therapy and behavior analysis.

Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments for children with ASD
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and collaborate with the ABA team
Provide speech therapy sessions to children, including one-on-one and small group sessions
Work closely with Behavior Analysts and other team members to integrate speech and language goals with ABA programs
Provide parent and caregiver training to enhance communication strategies at home
Document progress, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, providing input and collaborating to ensure the best outcomes for clients
Stay current with best practices in speech therapy and behavior analysis
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Active and unrestricted license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Ohio
Active license with the Ohio Department of Education, or willingness to obtain
Experience working with toddler age children, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred
Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and methodologies is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Job Type: Full-time, Monday-Friday
Work Location: In-person at our 2 centers in Columbus, Ohio (Powell & Reynoldsburg OH)
