Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician, Injection Molding

We’re looking for an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician to keep our injection molding operation running at peak performance. If diagnosing a stubborn hydraulic issue, reading a complex electrical schematic, and updating a PM plan in IQMS all in one shift sounds like your kind of challenge, read on.

Your Mission

• Own equipment health across plastic injection molding machines and auxiliaries.
• Attack root causes: mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic.
• Perform scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance; log everything in IQMS.
• Dismantle, inspect, and repair components with precision.
• Respond quickly to production calls and restore operation efficiently.
• Champion lean improvements and support facility upkeep.
• Work safely—adhere to MIOSHA standards, company policies, and LOTO procedures.
• Collaborate on cross-functional projects when needed.

Shift Options

• A Shift — Monday through Wednesday 6:00am-12:15pm and alternating Thursday/Friday or Saturday/Sunday 6:00am-6:15pm
• C Shift — Monday through Wednesday 6:00pm-12:15am and alternating Thursday/Friday or Saturday/Sunday 6:00pm-6:15am

What You Need to Succeed

• 2–5 years in an industrial maintenance role.
• Hands-on exposure to injection molding equipment, assembly processes, and auxiliary systems.
• Associate’s degree or Trade/Technical School equivalent.
• Proficiency in hydraulics, pneumatics, and electronic/electrical troubleshooting.
• Experience with robots/automation strongly preferred.
• Strong planning, follow-through, and communication skills.
• Comfort working in a high-demand, fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Work Setting & Physical Expectations

• Manufacturing environment with potential for heat, noise, and dirt.
• Frequent reaching, lifting, bending, and long periods of standing.
• High attention to detail and safety during service and operation.
