Location: Live Oak, Florida
Shift: PRN
Salary: Up to $37 per hour
Live Oak Healthcare and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our team on a PRN basis. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive, patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to evaluate residents’ needs and assist in implementing individualized therapeutic treatment plans.
- Support residents in regaining independence by guiding them through daily living activities and enhancing functional abilities.
- Provide hands-on assistance during prescribed occupational therapy interventions to promote recovery from illness, injury, or other health conditions.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and facility policies.
- Work closely with therapists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Active Florida COTA License (Required)
Long-term care experience preferred, but not required
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Passion for providing high-quality resident care
