Production Tech - SeasonalDepartment: Live EntertainmentReports To: Entertainment LeadPosition Type: SeasonalAbout the JobTo create audio visual and sound to enhance the quality of the live shows as well as assisting other departments with their audio visual needs.Why Work at Worlds of Fun?Free park admissionTeam member ride nights and special eventsFlexible schedulingOn‑the‑job paid training providedUniforms providedGreat experience for entertainment skills, no prior experience NecessaryWhat You'll DoInterviews and films guests.Performs camera operations.Helps to create audio visual throughout the park.Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.Meets Worlds of Fun's attendance requirements as outlined in Worlds of Fun attendance policies.Adheres to Worlds of Fun's Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures.Assist with additional duties as assigned by leadershipWhat We're Looking ForMinimum age: 18Friendly, positive attitude and strong communication skillsAbility to demonstrate basic computer skills on MAC system.Ability to demonstrate creative skills in creating audio visual material.Advanced knowledge in daily operation of live venue equipment including, but not limited to: Mixing live Sound Console for theatrical shows, Lighting Control, audio playback.Advanced knowledge in the setup and operation of special event equipment for various festivals as well as group sales events and presentational production setupAdvanced knowledge in daily park-wide load in and maintenance for ride audio/ride lighting and other lighting/sound system setups for general park operation.Experience with the fundamentals of theatrical stage management practices, including production reports, show management, show maintenance and equipment maintenance, leadership skills, etc.Advanced knowledge of operations of Theatrical Live Sound Mixing Consoles: Mackie Analog Boards, Digital Personus Board, Bheringer Digital Control Consoles, Yamaha QL/CL Series Consoles.Advanced knowledge of operations of Thetrical Live Sound Equipment: Wireless microphone transmitter/receivers, auxiliary playback and device input and setup, speaker setup, amplifies setup, etcAdvanced knowledge of operations of Theatrical Lighting Control Consoles & EquipmentAdvanced experience with leadership of a team of technicians in implementation of production load in/technical process as well as the ability to oversee daily production and operation of live event/live entertainment productions.Ability to understand English at a level sufficient to receive and perform basic job assignments and instructions.Ability to work in extreme temperatures (up to/in excess of 100 F).Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidaysAble to stand for long periods and work outdoors in various weatherStrong teamwork skills and professional behaviorPerform these job functions with or without reasonable accommodationsOther DutiesAdditional responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support park operations.Ready to Apply?Apply online at EnchantedParks.com/JobsEnchanted Parks is a Smoke‑Free, Drug‑Free Equal Opportunity Employer.
