URGENT HIRING: Travel Occupational Therapist

Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) | Fort Myers, FL (13-Week Contract)

We’re seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a rehab team in Fort Myers, Florida. This contract offers guaranteed hours and the chance to help patients improve independence and quality of life while enjoying all the beauty Southwest Florida has to offer.

• Location: Fort Myers, FL

• Start Date: ASAP

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks

• Schedule: 40 hours/week (5x8s or facility schedule)

• Setting: Outpatient / Rehab (varies by facility need)

• Active Florida OT license

• Current BLS certification

• Minimum 1 year of recent OT experience (rehab or outpatient preferred)

• Strong background in patient assessment, therapy planning, and functional recovery

• Evaluate patients and create individualized treatment plans

• Guide patients in therapeutic exercises and activities of daily living

• Monitor progress and adjust plans to meet goals

• Collaborate with rehab and interdisciplinary care teams

• Educate patients and families on home programs and adaptive strategies

• Maintain accurate documentation per facility and state requirements
