Job Title: Food Service Supervisor (Part-Time)
Facility: The Monarch at Brooklyn Rehabilitation & Nursing Center
Pay: Up to $28 per hour

The Monarch at Brooklyn Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a reliable and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our dietary team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who is passionate about providing high-quality meals and ensuring an excellent dining experience for our residents.

• Supervise daily operations of the dietary department during assigned shifts

• Oversee meal preparation, service, and sanitation standards

• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations

• Support, train, and guide dietary staff

• Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation

• Collaborate with clinical staff to accommodate residents’ dietary needs and restrictions

• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment

• Prior experience in food service supervision, preferably in a healthcare or skilled nursing setting

• Knowledge of dietary regulations and food safety standards (ServSafe certification preferred)

• Strong leadership and organizational skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication and team-building abilities
