Job Description:
The Production Coordinator will help keep manufacturing operations running smoothly by coordinating information between production, scheduling, materials, and management. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate schedules, monitoring workflow, and making sure production teams have the materials and information needed to stay on track.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate communication between production, scheduling, materials, and management teams
- Monitor manufacturing activity and provide updates on production status
- Review production orders to confirm required materials, quantities, and specifications
- Provide production staff with current schedules, paperwork, and necessary resources
- Keep production tracking systems and records accurate and current
- Communicate schedule adjustments, delays, and production concerns to appropriate teams
- Work with materials and supply teams to verify inventory availability
- Track equipment downtime and communicate maintenance-related updates
- Keep scheduling information aligned with actual production-floor activity
- Help maintain effective communication and workflow across multiple departments
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing, production scheduling, coordination, or a related field
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, formatting, and data entry
- Comfortable working with measurements, quantities, numbers, and production materials
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize competing responsibilities
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
