Wiring Technician

Tasks:

· Perform wiring trace-outs when required by engineering.

· Layout control panels when required.

· Run conduit and thread wire when required.

· Testing and installation of current transformers.

· Wire control and ancillary devices as required by engineering.

· Interpret engineering drawings and instructions.

· Layout connection diagrams for production.

· Perform and verify all work in accordance with manufacturing methods.

· Maintain clean facilities and equipment.

Working Conditions:

· Occasional climbing, lifting, bending, and carrying light to moderate loads (==50 lbs.)

· Some exposure to fumes, primarily from paint and adhesives.

· Frequently required to work at heights, primarily on work platforms, occasionally on step ladders.

· Shift work

Qualifications:

· Associate degree or equivalent experience in electrical wiring & controls required.

· 2 years of wiring experience required; transformer manufacturing experience preferred.
