Facility: Briarcliff Manor Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing Care
Location: Briarcliff Manor, New York
Schedule: Full-Time
Pay Rate: Up to $40.00 per hour
Briarcliff Manor Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will play a vital part in helping residents regain independence, improve daily functioning, and enhance their overall quality of life through supportive and personalized occupational therapy services.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Occupational Therapist with resident evaluations and the implementation of individualized treatment plans
Support residents in performing activities of daily living (ADLs) and therapeutic exercises
Help residents work toward rehabilitation and functional independence goals
Monitor, document, and report resident progress and responses to treatment
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure the highest quality outcomes
Maintain resident confidentiality and comply with all regulatory and facility standards
Current New York State COTA License
Experience using Net Health software preferred
Prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience strongly preferred
Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
