About the Role:
The Occupational Therapist will help patients develop, recover, or maintain the skills needed for daily living and work. You will provide client-centered, holistic care to help individuals regain independence and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and address client performance to support engagement in meaningful daily activities
Select and adapt appropriate OT treatment approaches based on individual needs
Improve safety and independence in ADLs and IADLs
Educate patients on task adaptation and breaking down activities into manageable steps
Assess home and living environments and recommend modifications
Recommend and train patients on adaptive equipment
Educate and support family members and caregivers
Monitor and document progress toward short- and long-term goals
Maintain accurate documentation and regularly follow up with clients
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience as an Occupational Therapist preferred
Strong understanding of OT principles and treatment practices
Familiarity with ADL assessment tools
Commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Active OT license required
