Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our subacute rehabilitation team at Riverwood Health and Rehabilitation in Starke, Florida. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover and regain their independence following an illness or injury. Our mission is to provide exceptional, family-focused care to individuals of all ages, promoting quicker recovery and improving quality of life.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify areas of strength and weakness
Design and implement therapeutic activities and programs to address cognitive, physical, and emotional deficits
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment and progress
Requirements:
Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Florida
2+ years of experience working with subacute rehabilitation patients preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
What We Offer:
$5,000 Sign on bonus (pay out discussed upon hire)
$46 up to $57 per hour based on employment status and years of experience
