Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our subacute rehabilitation team at Riverwood Health and Rehabilitation in Starke, Florida. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover and regain their independence following an illness or injury. Our mission is to provide exceptional, family-focused care to individuals of all ages, promoting quicker recovery and improving quality of life.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans to meet the unique needs of each patient

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify areas of strength and weakness

  • Design and implement therapeutic activities and programs to address cognitive, physical, and emotional deficits

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care

  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment and progress

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Florida

  • 2+ years of experience working with subacute rehabilitation patients preferred

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
