Job Title: Maintenance Technician / Maintenance Mechanic
Overview Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician / Maintenance Mechanic to support facility and equipment maintenance in a manufacturing environment. In this role, you’ll be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting machinery and equipment, responding to production downtime, and supporting overall plant reliability and efficiency.

  • Shift: Monday-Friday; 6am-2:30 pm
  • Pay:$35-$39
Key Responsibilities
  • Install, align, repair, and maintain production machinery and equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, technical manuals, and equipment documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and power transmission systems.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and preventive maintenance (TPM).
  • Use machine tools, including lathes and grinders, to fabricate or repair parts as needed.
  • Maintain and support a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and spare parts inventory.
  • Respond quickly to production downtime and operator maintenance requests.
  • Identify and implement improvements to equipment performance, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Follow all company safety protocols, ISO procedures, and plant maintenance standards.
Skills & Experience
  • 3+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 2-year vocational/technical degree or equivalent training in industrial maintenance, mechanics, or a related field.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and power transmission systems.
  • Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and precision measurement instruments.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience troubleshooting and working with PLCs and automated systems.
  • Previous experience using CMMS and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Welding and metal fabrication experience.
  • Experience with machine tools such as lathes and grinders.
  • Knowledge of TPM and equipment reliability improvement practices.
Work Environment
  • Manufacturing/plant environment with exposure to noise, dust, machinery, and varying temperatures.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Position requires regular use of hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
  • Must follow required safety procedures and ISO standards.
  • Requires the ability to respond quickly to equipment issues and production downtime.
