Precision Grinder / Sander – $17/HR

Smith Personnel Solutions is hiring!

Fort Worth, TX 76104
Pay: $17.00/HR

Position Summary

Responsible for grinding and sanding defects out of metal parts to meet customer and Crow Precision Components specifications.

Responsibilities

Perform precision smoothing, sharpening, and polishing of metal parts.
Grind and sand defects from parts according to specifications.
Use hand tools and apply knowledge of abrasives and grinding procedures.
Operate a Wheelabrator.
Monitor parts for quality throughout the production run.
Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet required specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all safety procedures and production guidelines.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
1–3 years of manufacturing or operations experience required.
Ability to read and understand instructions and standard operating procedures.
Strong attention to detail and quality control.
Strong analytical and practical problem-solving skills.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.
