Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Per Diem
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our Per Diem team at Carriage House Nursing and Rehab in Bay City, Michigan. Responsibilities:
Assist physical therapists in the development and implementation of patient treatment plans
Provide physical therapy interventions, including exercises, stretching, and modalities, under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
Contribute to patient education and discharge planning
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Collaborate with other caregivers to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Utilize effective communication skills to ensure smooth transitions and continuity of care
Requirements:
**Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) degree from an accredited program
Current certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of Michigan
1+ year of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) or related experience
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
