Purchasing Manager | Food Retail
As Purchasing Manager for a growing food retailer, you'll be the person negotiating smarter deals, protecting margins, and building the systems and vendor relationships that drive company-wide financial performance.

What You'll Do
- Lead the company's purchasing and pricing strategy end to end
- Build and manage vendor relationships, negotiating pricing, terms, and cost-saving opportunities that move the needle
- Develop and execute pricing strategies that protect margins while keeping the company competitive
- Maintain the integrity of the item file new items, cost updates, vendor assignments, and pricing accuracy
- Monitor gross margins, purchasing performance, and departmental spending through ongoing reporting and analysis
- Coach and develop the Purchasing Coordinator, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
What You Bring
- 3+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, pricing, merchandising, or category management
- Food retail, grocery, foodservice, hospitality, or distribution background preferred
- Strong vendor negotiation skills and relationship management instincts
- Solid analytical and financial acumen with a problem-solver's mindset
- Experience with ERP or retail merchandising systems
