A beautiful, privately owned skilled nursing facility located in Massena is looking for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
Salary: $25/HR to $35/HR - Based On Experience
Responsibilities:
- Evaluates and provides family oriented services to the home health patient with neurological, musculoskeletal, orthopedic, and cardio-pulmonary impairments; fine motor, sensory motor, and developmental delays; as well as traumatic injuries and swallowing disorders
- Providing initial and ongoing assessment to determine level of functioning.
- Preparing clinical progress notes.
- Evaluating outcomes.
- Planning Discharge.
Qualifications:
- Occupational Therapist license preferred
- Must have prior experience as an OT or COTA
- Must have experience in long term care
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Actively looking for ways to help people
