Compensation will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
Compensation:$23 - $24 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Fit, assemble, and weld stainless steel and carbon steel components, including both light- and heavy-gauge materials, according to project specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
- Measure and verify material dimensions to confirm proper fit and project requirements.
- Inspect completed parts and assemblies to ensure they meet company quality standards and specifications.
- Safely operate and maintain welding equipment, tools, and machinery to promote proper performance and extend equipment life.
- Assist with other shop operations as needed, including painting, braking, and rolling.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all company safety procedures.
- This position is safety-sensitive.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in fabrication, welding, manufacturing, or a related field
- Proficient in welding GTAW, GMAW, and SMAW
- Strong capabilities in interpreting engineering blueprints and drawings
- Excellent understanding of various types of metal and their respective properties
- Familiarity with Safety regulations and readiness to utilize personal protective Equipment (PPE)
- OSHA 10 certification is highly preferred, and will be required within the first 60 days of employment.
