Responsibilities:
Provide total care for residents, including monitoring their condition and needs, administering medications and treatments, and overseeing the nursing assistant-registered (NAR) staff
Complete documentation, admit, and discharge residents
Report any bruises, skin tears, or neglect found while caring for residents
Maintain confidentiality and follow Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) requirements
Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents, their families, visitors, and colleagues
Qualifications:
LPN licensure with the KS Board of Nursing
Current CPR certification
Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPPA regulations
Desire to work with the elderly
Experience in medical, surgical, or geriatric nursing is preferred but not required
Work Schedule:
12-hour shifts, 6 am to 6 pm
Week 1: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday
Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
3-day weekends every other weekend
Never work more than 3 days in a row
7 days off every 14 days
Average 2 hours of overtime every week
