We are a locally owned residential electrical service company backed by a nationally recognized home-services brand. We are hiring an experienced Michigan Journeyman Electrician who can independently diagnose residential electrical problems, communicate confidently with homeowners, and deliver an exceptional service experience.

This position is designed for a proven residential service electrician—not someone who needs to be taught how to run a service call.

Compensation and Benefits

• $46–$50 per hour in guaranteed base pay
• 95,680–$104,000 in annual base wages

What You’ll Do

• Troubleshoot, repair, replace, and install residential electrical systems.
• Run service calls independently from diagnosis through completed work.
• Explain findings and repair or replacement options clearly to homeowners.
• Identify safety, reliability, and code concerns.
• Document jobs with accurate notes, photos, and invoices.
• Protect the customer’s home and complete work safely and professionally.

What We’re Looking For
We are looking for an experienced residential service professional who combines strong technical judgment with excellent customer communication.

The right candidate can walk into a customer’s home, identify the problem, explain it in plain language, recommend appropriate options, complete the work correctly, and leave the customer feeling confident in the service they received.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan Journeyman Electrician license
• Strong residential troubleshooting and service experience
• Ability to independently run residential service calls
• Knowledge of the NEC and applicable state and local codes
• Experience with panels, service upgrades, wiring, circuits, devices, and fixtures
• Professional communication and customer-service skills
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to use a tablet for job documentation
