Job Summary

Oversees daily food service operations, supervises food service staff, and ensures food quality, safety, sanitation, and customer service standards are consistently met. Coordinates departmental workflow, supports employee development, and maintains compliance with all applicable regulations and organizational policies.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years of food service or hospitality experience with supervisory responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
  • Strong communicationand interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’sorBachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or related field.
  • ServSafeManager Certification or equivalent.
  • Experience with inventory management and scheduling software.
  • Proven leadership experience managing diverse teams.
  • Bilingual communication skillspreferred.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily food service staff activities.
  • Monitor food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance.
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, andassistwith cost control efforts.
  • Address customer concerns and resolve complaints promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal food safety regulations.
  • Prepare reports related to inventory, staffing, and operational performance.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, squatting, and kneeling.
  • Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs independently; greater than 50 lbs with assistance or equipment.
  • Ability to work safely in a kitchen and food preparation environment.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient for food preparation, documentation, and computer use.
  • Adequate vision, hearing, and communication skillsrequiredto perform essential job functions.
