Fabricator / Welder - Commercial Door & Frame Manufacturing

Location: Longwood, FloridaJob Type: Full-TimeIndustry: Commercial Door & Frame ManufacturingPosition SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our manufacturing team in Longwood, FL. This role is responsible for fabricating and welding commercial hollow metal door frames and components while ensuring all work meets project specifications, quality standards, and production timelines. The ideal candidate has experience in metal fabrication, can read and interpret shop drawings and specifications, and takes pride in producing high-quality, precise work.Key Responsibilities-Fabricate and weld commercial hollow metal door frames and related components-Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and project specifications-Set up and operate welding equipment (primarily MIG; TIG a plus)-Measure, cut, and assemble steel components to exact tolerances-Ensure all products meet quality standards and customer requirements-Inspect finished work for accuracy, weld integrity, and overall fit/finish-Work with production team to meet daily and weekly output goals-Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment-Follow all OSHA and company safety guidelinesQualifications-2+ years of experience in metal fabrication and/or welding (manufacturing environment preferred)-Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications-Proficient in MIG welding; TIG welding experience is a plus-Experience with hollow metal doors/frames or similar products preferred-Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship-Ability to use fabrication tools (grinders, saws, press brakes, etc.)-Able to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods-Reliable, punctual, and team-orientedPreferred Skills-Experience in commercial door and frame manufacturing-Knowledge of industry standards (e.g., SDI – Steel Door Institute)-Forklift experience (or willingness to be certified)Compensation & Benefits-Competitive hourly pay (based on experience)-Overtime opportunities-Health, dental, and vision insurance-Paid time off and holidays-Opportunities for advancement within a growing companyWhy Join Us-Stable, growing manufacturing company-Consistent workload with commercial projects-Team-oriented environment with strong leadership-Opportunity to grow your skills in a specialized tradeHow to ApplySubmit your resume or apply in person at our Longwood, FL facility.
