Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Contour Technician to join our team in Huntsville. In this role, you will precision-contour, characterize, and finish ceramic, zirconia, hybrid, and All-on-X restorations to exact prescription specifications, functional standards, and natural aesthetics.

  • Quality & Precision: Finish complex single-unit through full-arch cases with minimal remake rates, ensuring accurate shade matches, occlusion, and natural emergence profiles.

  • Production Excellence: Maintain steady daily workflow across both digital and analog production streams (milled bars, 3D-printed dentures, and custom implants) while paying close attention to micro-detail.

  • Collaborative Problem Solving: Partner directly with prescribing clinicians and internal quality control to resolve fit or aesthetic adjustments quickly and accurately.

  • Compliance & Standards: Consistently follow FDA QS/GMP guidelines and internal quality checkpoints across all cases.

  • Bench Leadership & Growth: Share proven techniques to assist and mentor junior technicians, and actively adapt to new materials, software updates, and high-tech equipment.

Work Environment & Resources

You will operate on a collaborative production floor at our Jetplex Industrial Park facility, working alongside veteran crown-and-bridge, implant, and removable technicians. Reporting directly to the Production Manager, you will have access to state-of-the-art milling units, 3D printers, and ceramic systems, supported by an ongoing continuing education budget.

Essential Qualifications
  • Proven track record contouring and finishing porcelain, zirconia, and hybrid/full-arch restorations in a commercial dental lab.

  • Strong ability to interpret complex prescriptions and achieve natural anatomical contours, functional contacts, and exact shade matches.

  • Hands-on familiarity with digital workflows, CAD/CAM outputs, milled frameworks, and implant hardware.

  • Outstanding hand-eye coordination, strong color discrimination, and comfortable working under magnification.

  • High dependability, keen attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering patient-ready work on every case.
