Schedule
- Monday–Friday: 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Saturdays as required
We are looking for a skilled Welder/Fitter with at least two years of experience to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate is committed to safety, quality workmanship, and teamwork while producing high-quality welds that meet project specifications.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG (metal core) and flux-core welding.
- Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
- Fit and weld pipe, flanges, structural steel, and vessel components.
- Operate flame and plasma cutting equipment.
- Follow Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and company quality standards.
- Produce welds that meet X-ray and ultrasonic inspection requirements.
- Use grinders, measuring tools, fixtures, and hand tools.
- Operate forklifts as needed.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and productive work environment.
- Work collaboratively to improve manufacturing processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of welding/fitting experience.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of structural steel, pipe, and vessel fabrication.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality.
Physical Requirements
- Stand for extended periods.
- Frequently bend, stoop, squat, climb, reach, and twist.
- Lift and handle welding equipment and materials.
- Work in hot and cold environments.
- Safely climb ladders and stairs.
