Title: IP Engineer IVLocation: Alexandria, VA Clearance: TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph Position Overview:The IP Engineer serves as a senior technical leader responsible for the design, integration, and sustainment of complex network and system architectures. This role provides systems engineering, network operations, and technical oversight across the full system lifecycle in support of mission-critical environments. Responsibilities: Analyze user requirements, CONOPS, and system architectures to develop system requirements and specificationsLead system design, development, integration, and implementation activitiesProvide technical leadership across systems engineering lifecycle, including planning, testing, and deploymentDevelop system architecture documentation, engineering plans, and integration/test strategiesGuide stakeholders on requirements, alternatives, and feasibility assessmentsEnsure technical integrity of deliverables and resolve complex system and interface issuesDesign and support enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN environments and associated technologiesPerform network configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimizationSupport system upgrades, maintenance, and incident response, including root cause analysisCoordinate with government and program stakeholders on technical issues, risks, and solutionsSupervise technical staff and support high-risk, complex programs Requirements:Bachelor's degree from an accredited institute in a technical discipline; an additional 4 years of may be substituted in lieu of a degreeMinimum of eight (8) years of directly related experienceMust possess current DoD 8570 IAT II and Microsoft Certified Professional (or equivalent) certificationStrong systems engineering experience, including requirements analysis, system architecture, integration, testing, and lifecycle managementProficiency in IP networking fundamentals (IPv4/IPv6, subnetting, routing, switching) and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP)Experience configuring and troubleshooting network devices and managing LAN/WAN infrastructure, VLANs, VPNs, and segmentationFamiliarity with network platforms and tools (e.g., Cisco IOS, Juniper Junos, SolarWinds)Knowledge of network monitoring, performance analysis, and incident response processesUnderstanding of network security fundamentals and technologies (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet)Scripting or automation experience (e.g., Python, Bash, Ansible) and exposure to software-defined networking (SDN) preferred Familiarity with cloud networking (e.g., AWS, Azure) preferredExperience working in a DoD or IC environment Current active TS/SCI clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph Equal Opportunity Employer/Veteran/Disabled
