Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)
Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) to join our team. The OTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality rehabilitative care to Medicare patients in compliance with all applicable guidelines and standards.
Responsibilities:
Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist
Provide therapy services to Medicare patients as prescribed
Monitor and document patient progress
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Follow Medicare guidelines and company policies for care delivery
Requirements:
Valid OTA license in the state of Florida.
Strong communication and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with Kinnser is preferred
