Required immediately, our Boise Branch is seeking a full time Facility Maintenance Technician!
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for ensuring the mechanical functionality of the branch’s equipment and conducting repairs when necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Mechanically inclined, knowledge of CNC equipment an asset
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Able to manage inventory
- Maintenance scheduling
- Basic computer skills for parts research
- Basic understanding of electrical, mechanical and control principles
- Has or can obtain fork lift operator’s certificate
- Self-starter
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inspects and repairs faulty production equipment
- Performs routine maintenance including; cleaning, inspecting and greasing production equipment
- Sets up production equipment to ensure effective operation
- Sources mechanical parts needed for various repairs
- Provides guidance or direction to outside contractors brought in to assist with repairs
- Participates in cross training when asked
- Covers other positions as required to maintain production flow
- Participates in team huddles
- Other duties as assigned
