Grow your litigation career with a Construction Law and Civil Litigation firm in Dunedin, FL. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with at least two years of civil litigation experience. A solid understanding of billable hours and time-tracking requirements is preferred. Experience in construction litigation or the construction industry is a plus, though not required. Insurance defense experience is welcomed and highly valued.


Position: Civil Litigation Attorney - Construction Law


Applicant Requirements

To be considered for the position, all applicants must:

  • Be a member of the Florida Bar in good standing
  • Be able to commute to the office each workday (with some remote opportunities available)
  • Be able to travel as required for court appearances, client meetings, mediations, and site inspections
  • Possess strong analytical, research, writing, grammatical, and communication skills


Position Responsibilities

  • Manage both transactional and litigation matters
  • Prepare and negotiate contracts and construction-related documents
  • Prepare and enforce liens
  • Conduct formal discovery
  • Conduct and defend depositions
  • Perform legal research and draft memoranda analyzing complex legal issues
  • Draft and argue motions
  • Attend hearings, mediations, and trials
  • Work directly with clients and play an active role in strategy and case development

Compensation & Bonus Structure

  • Starting salary: $125,000, commensurate with experience
