At Continental Springs, our rehab team is dedicated to helping residents achieve their highest level of function and quality of life in a subacute/skilled nursing setting. We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech Language Pathologist to join our interdisciplinary team in a flexible part-time or per diem role.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing disorders

  • Develop and implement individualized speech therapy treatment plans

  • Provide dysphagia assessment and treatment, including diet and swallowing recommendations

  • Address communication, cognitive-linguistic, and functional speech deficits

  • Educate residents, caregivers, and staff to support carryover of therapy goals

  • Collaborate with PT, OT, nursing, and physicians to support patient outcomes

  • Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation

  • Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team communication

Qualifications

  • Active Speech Language Pathologist license in Nebraska (or eligibility for licensure)

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program

  • CCC-SLP preferred; Clinical Fellows welcome to apply

  • Experience in skilled nursing or subacute rehab preferred

  • Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and patient-centered skills
