Speech Therapist (SLP) Medicare Patients
Job Description
We are currently seeking a licensed and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to perform evaluations and re-evaluations for Medicare patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Medicare guidelines and demonstrate excellent clinical judgment and documentation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct initial speech-language evaluations and re-evaluations as required
Develop or update individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
Complete all documentation accurately and in a timely manner
Collaborate with other healthcare providers as needed
Ensure compliance with all Medicare regulations and agency protocols
Requirements:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of Florida
Experience working with adult and/or geriatric Medicare patients
Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and documentation skills
Familiarity with Kinnser or similar EMR platform is preferred
Excellent communication and organizational skills
